A draft is a written order by a Bank irrevocably undertaking to pay on demand a specified sum of money to the order of a specified person. Presently our foreign currency drafts are drawn on Citibank New York for US Dollar and Canadian Dollar drafts and Citi Bank London for Pound Sterling and Euro drafts.

Requirements

  • A funded domiciliary account in the currency of the draft required
  • A properly written and duly signed customer instruction
  • A signed indemnity accepting exchange rate fluctuations in the case of Canadian Dollar drafts.

Customers can submit a copy of their Foreign Currency draft request at any of our branches nationwide or initiate a request via internet banking.
