Biometric Verification Data Consent Notice

Guaranty Trust Holding Company (‘GTCO’, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ’Our’) respects your privacy and choose to uphold it. This notice explains how We collect, store, and use biometric data provided by our “Customers” (“You”). GTCO will capture and use your biometric data (Picture).

This notice only applies to biometric data We collect and process on the GTWorld app. For information about how we handle other types of personal information, please visit the GTCO Privacy Policy.

We collect your Biometric data as part of a legal requirement for identity verification, security, and fraud prevention. We do not sell, lease, make any profit from your biometric data or otherwise use your biometric data for purposes outside the legal requirements. The biometric data may be used and stored outside of Nigeria.

You understand and consent that We will share the biometric data with Verification Service Providers (Third-party service providers) in order to validate it against a government source. We will only share the biometric data with another third party if You, or your authorized representative provides written consent, or we are required to do so by applicable law.

Please note that third-party service providers may also have independent access to other forms of your personal data via your ID number including:

• Full Name;

• Date of Birth;

• ID Number;

• Image;

• Address;

• Phone Number;

• Gender;

• Government ID Expiry Date; and

• Or other additional information associated with your ID Number that the Issuing Authority may provide.
