An account is inactive when there has been no customer or depositor initiated transaction for a period of six months
A dormant account is an account that has had no customer or depositor initiated transaction for a period of one year
A duly filled dormant account reactivation form, an ID card is not necessary so long as you have not exceeded the single deposit limit of N50,000 and cumulative balance of N300,000 respectively

If the address filled on the reactivation/ update form differs from what is registered with the Bank, a utility bill will be required for original sighting within the last three months.
A notarized utility bill is required to ascertain that the customer still resides in the same location
Yes. Accrued interest on the account will be credited to the account regularly even if it is dormant.
No. Our Bank does not charge for reactivation of dormant accounts
The customer can use a notarised foreign Driver’s license and the expired Nigerian International passport for the reactivation of account.
