Through our support for pregnant and nursing mothers with HIV and our hospital visits, we provided access to quality health care for children and mothers
This targets the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well being), which focuses on improving maternal and child healthcare. Through our support for pregnant and nursing mothers with HIV and our hospital visits, we provided access to quality health care for children and mothers. On December 25, 2017 we organised a Christmas party for the sick at the Massey Children’s Hospital Lagos, putting smiles on their young faces.
Through our partnership with St. Kizito Clinic, an accredited Prevention Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) Centre, we provided medical care to stop mother-to-child transmission of HIV. Following the purchase of medical equipment, Kizito continues to provide free medical care—routine laboratory and chest x-rays, specialist consultations and medication— to treat life threatening HIV opportunistic infections.
Through our collaboration with the Swiss Red Cross, we supported migrant children whose homes and homelands have been torn by war and violent conflicts
